We are excited to offer several new
services to our customers!
Ground Work Training: Groundwork includes work in a
round pen, with the horse off and, eventually, on the halter.
We offer services for horse owners who wish to participate and those
that don't (although we require horse owners to spend a minimum
amount of time with their horse during the course of training).
Services include but are not limited to:
Halter breaking
Teaching to properly lead (give to pressure - not
pull back and resist)
Giving horses the opportunity to learn to stand tied
and then introducing various factors (grooming, including clipping
(per owner's permission), handling ears, nose and mouth (preparation
for bridling), bathing (weather permitting), etc.
Picking up all four feet, preparing horse for
farrier services
Introducing horses to various challenges (logs,
tarps, water, slickers, balloons, any variety of things that go
"BOO" to a horse.) In this process, the horse will learn to
trust the human and themselves to stay connected to their human when
frightening situations arise.
Trailer Loading (this is where all of the halter
work preparation we did with the horse really pays off!)
Introduction to the saddle, bridle/bit or bosal
(depending on the owner's wishes) for age-appropriate horses (right
around 2 years of age).
We customize the training program for each
horse/human partnership and will design this program with you during
your first session. We do not require a minimum training
length (from one session on up). In some cases, we will
consider training at your facility, depending on distance and
appropriateness of facility.
Riding Lessons :
We offer beginner riding lessons on several of our veteran saddle
horses at the rate of $25 per hour. Children are welcome!

Boarding: We are
offering full-care boarding (limited spaces) for $175 per month
(including hay).
We offer multiple horse discounts and can customize pens to meet
your needs. Sorry, we cannot accept stallions at this time. Equine Injury Rehabilitation Assistance:
We are happy to assist horse owners with their injured and post-op
equines. It seems that recommended treatments after
injury/operations often must be administered 2 or 3 times daily and consistency with these treatments is absolutely necessary for
proper healing. We have met many horse owners who are anxious
about how they are going to administer these treatments and take
care of their daily responsibilities, like work! We will be happy to
assist you on a set schedule or on an as-needed basis whenever you
are having difficulty fitting everything in. Services include
but are not limited to: administering medications, hydro-therapy,
bandaging/wrapping, exercising, etc. Rates are set on an
individual basis depending on distance of travel and time required
to administer treatment. Please Note!
We are not veterinarians and cannot prescribe treatments. We
can, however, follow those treatments prescribed by your
veterinarian.
